Private Duty Nursing
Pediatric Private Duty Nursing can be arranged for as little as 4 hours per day up to 24 hours per day when ordered by a physician. We specialize in:
- Ventilator-dependent children
- Children with metabolic disorders
- Neurologically impaired children
- Trauma victims
- Developmentally delayed children
- Children with feeding disorders
- Seizure disorders
Our nurses take medically fragile children to school every day.
The Nursing Supervisor, who is a registered nurse, will act as the clinical manager for the patient. The nursing supervisor will work with the family and the primary doctor to create a plan of treatment. Once this plan of treatment is in place, the nursing supervisor will ensure the nursing staff assigned to the patient is oriented and proficient in the technical skills required to properly care for each patient and will follow the plan of treatment accordingly. The Staffing Coordinator will schedule all of the nurses needed to provide coverage for the patient. Monthly schedules will be provided. The Respiratory Therapist will consult with our nursing staff as needed for additional training for new equipment, as each patient's needs may change over time.
Intermittent Care can be provided in the home for patients in need of skilled nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy or occupational therapy to help assist in monitoring the health needs of you or your child. We've developed specialty home care programs for:
